*Raptors Day with PTA
Utah PTA has joined up with the Ogden Raptors.  On August 25th,  7pm (the first Saturday after the kids return to school) for a fun filled family night.  Mark your calendars now, and look for more information to come home with your children in regards to tickets, the first week of school.

Carnival Thank You

A great big Thank You to everyone who supported the Bike and Pedestrian Rodeo and Carnival last evening.  Custom Events confirmed that this was the biggest turn out we have had at our carnival since we started using their services.  We would like to thank Mrs. Spatig for the many hours she spent to help provide our free popcorn and facepainting.  Thanks also to our talented peer leaders who provided the beautiful face painting and Officer Peggy and the gentleman who helped her present the Bike Rodeo sponsored by the Ogden Police Department.
 We hope everyone had a great time.  We welcome any comments that you may have concerning this event, and with your comments hope to make it even bigger and better next year.

Grab your favorite books, mark your calendar, block off a half hour in your day, and plan to join your child and Midland Elementary PTA as we celebrate reading with children at our first ever PARENTS AND PASTRIES!

If your childs last name starts with: 
A-L Please join us on Thursday March 8th @ 8:30am or 2:30pm

M-Z Please join us on Friday March 9th @ 8:30am or 2:30pm

Yellow flyers went home with your child this week.  Please be sure to return these completed flyers as soon as possible if you are planning to attend, this will allow us to have enough treats on hand for this event.

As always, every PTA event is only as successful as it's help.  If you would like to volunteer to help with this event, please be sure to indicate on the flyer you return to school, or drop us a message in our email.
