Reflections Program | PTA



The due date is quickly approaching for entry in Midland Elementary’s Reflections contest. All submissions must be received by Monday, Oct. 10th. This year’s theme is “Diversity Means. . .” Submissions will be accepted in eight categories including dance choreography, film production, literature, musical composition, photography, visual arts, theatre, and three-dimensional art.

If you need printed guidelines and entry forms, please email Midland PTA at midlandpta@gmail.com or call/text Deanne at 801-698-3455. Since we will be sending the information with your child, please include your child’s name, grade, teacher and category(ies) your student is interested in entering.

If you have access to a printer and the Internet, you can find guidelines and entry forms online. Please see details below.

Weekend Family Activity











The annual KSL Read Today (
http://www.readtoday.com/) Book Festival is coming up at the University of Utah on Saturday, September 10 from 10 to 5 p.m.

The festival is a fun, free family event featuring New York Times best-selling authors, author-signings, guest speakers, performances, literacy activities, prize giveaways, food and more. There will also be learning activities and playgrounds for kids. RC Willey has provided 100 Read Today backpacks for the first 100 kids who arrive. Mark your calendar today!
